MUTTON CURRY



INGREDIENTS:    Serves 4

4-5  onion (finely chopped)
1/2kg  mutton
4  tbsp  tomato puree
1  cup  curd
4  potatoes (each chopped into 4 pcs.)
1-1/2  tbsp ginger, garlic paste
1  tsp  red chilli powder
1/2  tsp  coriander powder
2  tsp  garam masala powder
1/4  tsp  turmeric powder
Coriander leaves for garnishing
Salt, to taste
 4-5 tbsp  Oil to cook


Method:
Heat oil in pressure cooker.
Fry chopped onions with ginger garlic paste and tomato puree.
Saute till onions turn light brown & the oil starts leaving the pan.
Add mutton and saute for 10 minutes till it blends with the onions and turns brown enough.
Add red chilli, coriander, garam masala, turmeric powders.
Saute once again for 5 minutes so that the masalas mix well with the mutton.
Add potatoes and pour 2 glasses of water.
Close the cooker and let the mutton cook for about 20 minutes.
Once cooked, transfer to a bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.
